INDY
Good afternoon all. There is plenty o' indy news and results to get to in this installment of the latest Indy Report, so I'll get to it asap.
Thus, while good quality indy events can be found nationwide for sure (of course, I'm not going to dare forget about the eastern hotbeds as well), for my Badger State-lovin' self, you can't beat some of the events and shows that are put on through the calendar year in the State O' Beer and Cheer! I heartily encourage ALL Midwestern indy fans to come up here once and give a WI promotion a chance (yes, even Illinois fans)!
Now, after my shameless plug, I go to the news:

FULL NWA TNA RESULTS
- The show began with a video package highlighting all three matches involving AJ Styles and D'Lo Brown from last week with the NWA World Heavyweight Title on the line. Scott Hudson was then shown near a limo containing AJ Styles, Sonny Siaki and Trinity.
- Jerry Lynn defeated "Prime Time" Elix Skipper, winning the first fall very quickly with a la magistral cradle. Skipper then got on the mic and said he wanted to make the match best two out of three falls. Lynn got the second fall when Skipper went to use his scale but Lynn kicked it back into his face to get the pin.
- Sonny Siaki did a promo in the ring saying that if it wasn't for him, D'Lo Brown would have beat AJ Styles last week to become the NEW NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Styles then came out and brought up that "their deal" was that he was the one who carried the belt and Siaki was the one who carried the bags. Both men argued over who Vince Russo liked the most. Styles slapped Siaki and called Trinity a rat, turning face in front of the hot TNA crowd. D'Lo Brown then came out and challenged Styles to a match. Styles agreed and the two shook hands. Siaki and Trinity then attacked Styles and Brown but Styles turned heel once again and helped Siaki/Trinity beat down Brown. The new head of authority in TNA Erik Watts came out and announced that next week, Sonny Siaki and Trinity would be barred from ringside and that Russo would be handcuffed to him to prevent any interference whatsoever in the NWA Title Match between D'Lo Brown and AJ Styles in a Steel Cage.
- Scott Hudson was show in Raven's Lair. Raven mentioned that CM Punk wasn't at the show tonight so the match would then be a 3 on 2 with Raven and Julio Dinero facing Shane Douglas and The New Chuch by themselves. Alexis Laree then said she would join the team to help them tonight.
- The Sandman defeated Edward Chastian. Sandman got the win when he hit Chastian with a cane shot followed by the famous Russian Leg Sweep with the cane for the win. Don Callis was also doing commentary with Mike Tenay and Don West at ringside. Following Chastian's lost against Sandman, Callis fired him.
- Simon Diamond & Johnny Swinger defeated Shark Boy & Norman Smiley. Diamond and Swinger got the win when they hit the double-team DDT on Smiley and gave Shark Boy a flapjack, with Diamond getting the pin on Shark Boy for the win. Following the match, Glenn Gilberti hit the ring and told Diamond and Swinger to attack Jeremy Borash. America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris & James Storm) hit the ring and took out Diamond and Swinger.
- Mike Tenay did a sit down interview with Vince Russo. Russo mentioned that S.E.X was on the backburner until he destroyed Jeff Jarrett. Russo said he has all the power in TNA now since AJ Styles (his champion) is now the NWA World Heavyweight Champion.
- Chris Sabin defeated Michael Shane to retain X Division Championship. Frankie Kazarian was the special guest referee in the match announced by Erik Watts. The match ended when referee Rudy Charles hit the ring and took over the referee duty when Kazarian and Sabin got into a brawl. While Charlies and Kazarian were arguing, Sabin took out Shane with the X Title and got the pin to retain.
- A video clip aired on Mad Mikey (aka Crash Holly). It put over that he didn't like breakfast, his roommates, his computer monitor (which he tossed out of a window) and attacking someone at a fast food window who put cheese on his burger.
- Kid Kash defeated Ricky Morton (w/ Sara Lee & Corsica Joe). The match ended when the referee was distracted and Abyss gave Morton a torture shoulder backbreaker drop, allowing Kash to get the pin.
- Another 3 Live Crew segment aired involving BG James, Ron "The Truth" Killings and Konnan. All three men went to a Mexican bar. James eventually got the runs and left to the bathroom while Killings got drunk. Next week: a trip to the trailer park.
- Lollipop and April challenged the Bitch Slap Girls. Nurse Veronica and Valentina came out along with Trinity. Trinity didn't go to the ring however. Lollipop and April hit Valentina on the butt with belts to finish the segment.
- Shane Douglas & The New Chuch (Slash & Brian Lee) defeated Raven, Julio Dinero & Alexis Laree in a Falls Count Anywhere Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match. Like last week, a person dressed in all white pulled Raven under the ring. This left Laree taking a beating from all three men. Raven eventually came back out from under the ring but Douglas pinned him on the floor right away to get the pin.
- Jeff Jarrett defeated (Joe E.) Legend in a Pole Match. The match ended when Legend went up to the top rope to use his bat against Jarrett. As Legend jumped down, Jarrett nailed him with the guitar over the head, breaking it everywhere in a very impressive sight. Jarrett got the pin.
After the match, Christopher Daniels hit the ring and attacked Jarrett. Legend eventually came to and held Jarrett for Daniels who came off the top rope and nailed Jarrett with the bat. Looked to setup Jarrett vs. Daniels in the coming weeks.
MATCHES ANNOUNCED FOR NEXT WEEK:
AJ Styles (c) vs. D'Lo Brown - Cage Match for NWA World Title (Russo, Siaki, Trinity banned)
